We are running mainly on the Dorset section of the SWCP and some inland trails, the route is predominantly tracks, paths & fields. As with the half marathon on day 2, you are taking in the scenery along West Bay and Eype and the 10k route goes along to Thorncombe Beacon where you then start to return along the cliff path to Freshwater to finish.  A gruelling 10k with a few climbs to reach the top of the cliffs and some steep descents but well worth the effort for the amazing views along the coast.

The different rocks along the Jurassic Coast have been carved by the sea into bays, beaches, cliffs, stacks, arches and landslides. This marvellous variety in the landscape helps create the natural beauty of the area and makes the Jurassic Coast an inspirational place to explore.
