Are You Ready For It?

White Star Running is once again organising an exciting set of races along the world-famous Jurassic Coast.

The award-winning Festival Of The Year 2019 is back for 2022, and incorporates an ultramarathon race (50km), marathon, half-marathon, 10K and children’s race over the weekend all along the Jurassic Coast.

In partnership with the Jurassic Coast Trust, this is the official Jurassic Coast Running Festival, which will showcase the amazing coastline Dorset has to offer. There is so much more to this event than just really good running routes. We wanted to help raise awareness of the importance of looking after the gorgeous coastline that we’re lucky to have access to here in Dorset.

We couldn’t have done this without the team at the Jurassic Coast Trust. They are an absolute joy to work with, and this year they’re once again providing a great range of resources and on-site activities over the weekend to educate our runners and their families about the Jurassic Coast. They also have Fundraiser places available for just £20 for every distance to help them raise vital funds for their work. Find out more here.

Run, walk or crawl along the stunning Jurassic Coast. The routes each day are available on the Routes page, but don’t require much navigation to follow as the South West Coast Path is well marked along the way.

The Jurassic Coast is well known for its remarkable views and challenging hills. Each day’s route takes in a variety of terrain, from coastal footpath to beaches and tracks.

Not for the fainthearted, this is a mighty running festival that is sure to challenge you whichever distance you decide on.

All The Fun of a White Star Running Event

Just like any White Star Running event you can expect spectacular scenery, challenging routes, hills, great support, well-stocked aid stations and fantastic company along the route.

You will finish at the site of the amazing Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, with amazing facilities such as an on-site swimming pool, bowling, restaurant, shop, entertainment and much more.
